Maine Law On Workplace Surveillance
Law was enacted during the second regular session of the 132nd Maine Legislature regarding limits on surveillance covering all public and private workplaces. H.P. 25 – L.D. 61 An Act to Regulate Employer Surveillance to Protect Workers was passed, enacting a new section 620-A within 26 Maine Revised Statutues (Sec. 1. 26 MRSA c. 7, sub-c. 1-E is enacted to read: SUBCHAPTER 1-E, EMPLOYER SURVEILLANCE. It will become law later this year.
